The Bloomington South Panthers (Bloomington, IN) basketball knocked off the visiting Mitchell Bluejackets (Mitchell, IN), 53-34 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Panthers (16-5) will now prepare for their test against Columbus North (Columbus, IN). The Bull Dogs go into the Conference Indiana test with a 12-6 record. In their last test, Columbus North notched a victory over East Central (St. Leon, IN), 55-29, in a non-league test.

The Bluejackets now own a 3-16 record. They play next when they host Loogootee for a non-league test on Friday, February 10. Mitchell will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 55-53 non-league loss to Bedford North Lawrence (Bedford, IN). The Lions record now stands at 11-7.
