The Canton Warriors basketball team (Canton, CT), was overwhelmed 65-37 in Saturday's league battle with the host Ellington Knights (Ellington, CT)
The Knights now possess a 13-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Suffield for a North Central Connecticut battle on Wednesday, February 8. Ellington will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 54-52 league loss to Sports & Medical Sciences Academy (Hartford, CT). The Wildcats record now stands at 10-5.
The Warriors (9-7) will now prepare for their battle against Northwestern Regional (Winsted, CT). The Highlanders come into the non-league battle with a 12-4 record. In their last battle, Northwestern Regional was overwhelmed by Wamogo (Litchfield, CT), 74-63, in a non-league battle.
