Texas High School Basketball - Castleberry ripped by Decatur

The Decatur Eagles basketball team scored 76 points and held the host Castleberry Lions to 50 in the Eagles league triumph on Saturday.
The Eagles now sport a 20-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lake Worth for a 4A Region I District 8 contest on Tuesday, February 7. Decatur will battle a Bullfrogs team coming off a 69-36 league win over Bridgeport (Bridgeport, TX). The Bullfrogs record now stands at 18-13.
The Lions (14-13) will now prepare for their contest against Springtown (Springtown, TX). The Porcupines enter the 4A Region I District 8 contest with a 9-19 record. In their last contest, Springtown was routed by Krum (Krum, TX), 66-57, in a league contest.
