The Pierce Bluejays (Pierce, NE) basketball knocked off the visiting Cedar Catholic Trojans (Hartington, NE), 44-28 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Bluejays (17-2) will now prepare for their test against Clarkson/Leigh (Clarkson, NE). The Patriots go into the non-league test with a 12-7 record. In their last test, Clarkson/Leigh went down by Howells-Dodge (Howells, NE), 69-39, in a non-league test.
The Trojans now own a 14-4 record. They play next when they host Osmond/Randolph for a non-league test on Monday, February 6. Cedar Catholic will encounter a Hawks squad coming off a 60-49 non-league loss to Homer (Homer, NE). The Hawks record now stands at 2-14.
