Chateaugay Bulldogs (Chateaugay, NY) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Tupper Lake Lumberjacks (Tupper Lake, NY), 58-53 in a league bout.

With the victory, Chateaugay upgrades its record to 14-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to St. Regis Falls (St. Regis Falls, NY) to play the Saints in a Section 10 East bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Saints come into the bout with a record of 1-13. St. Regis Falls won 59-44 in their recent non-league bout against Salmon River (Fort Covington, NY)

Next up, the Lumberjacks play the Parishville-Hopkinton Panthers (Parishville, NY) in a Section 10 East bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Tupper Lake will attempt to upgrade on its 13-4 season record.
