In Saturday's non-league outing, the Cherokee Washington Braves (Cherokee, IA) basketball squad felled the visiting Sheldon Orabs (Sheldon, IA), by a margin of 57-44.
The Braves (5-12) will now prepare for their outing against Sergeant Bluff-Luton (Sergeant Bluff, IA). The Warriors go into the non-league outing with a 11-8 record. In their last outing, Sergeant Bluff-Luton was beaten by Bishop Heelan Catholic (Sioux City, IA), 66-46, in a league outing.
The Orabs now own a 4-17 record. They play next when they host Okoboji for a Siouxland outing on Tuesday, February 7. Sheldon will encounter a Pioneers squad coming off a 56-49 league loss to Boyden-Hull (Hull, IA). The Pioneers record now stands at 5-13.
