In Saturday's non-league outing, the Turner Tornadoes (Turner, MT) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Chinook Beeters (Chinook, MT), by a count of 62-35.
The Tornadoes (6-8) will now prepare for their outing against Big Sandy (Big Sandy, MT). The Pioneers go into the C District 9 outing with a 13-3 record. In their last outing, Big Sandy smashed North Star (Rudyard, MT), 73-51, in a league outing.
The Beeters now hold a 4-10 record. They play next when they travel to Fort Benton for a C District 9 outing on Saturday, February 11. Chinook will clash with a Longhorns squad coming off a 60-47 league loss to Box Elder (Box Elder, MT). The Longhorns record now stands at 9-4.
