Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Montcalm Generals (Montcalm, WV) and the host Craig County Rockets (New Castle, VA), saw Montcalm's basketball squad overcome Craig County by a tally of 59-49.

With the victory, Montcalm improves its record to 10-5 on the campaign. The Generals host Greater Beckley Christian (Prosperity, WV) to confront the Crusaders in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 10. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a record of 6-10.

Next up, the Rockets confront the Covington Cougars (Covington, VA) in a Pioneer challenge, on Monday, February 6. Craig County will attempt to improve on its 3-15 season record.
