Arkansas High School Basketball - Mena ripped by Dardanelle

The Dardanelle Sand Lizards basketball team scored 67 points and held the host Mena Bearcats to 31 in the Sand Lizards league triumph on Saturday.
The Sand Lizards now sport a 16-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fountain Lake for a 4A Region 4 contest on Wednesday, February 8. Dardanelle will battle a Cobras team coming off a 50-49 league win over Pottsville (Pottsville, AR). The Cobras record now stands at 12-6.
The Bearcats (3-15) will now prepare for their contest against Waldron (Waldron, AR). The Bulldogs enter the 4A Region 4 contest with a 17-8 record. In their last contest, Waldron was routed by Morrilton (Morrilton, AR), 55-49, in a league contest.
