The Hope Bobcats (Hope, AR) basketball felled the visiting De Queen Leopards (De Queen, AR), 63-49 in Saturday's league test.
The Bobcats (3-2) will now prepare for their test against Arkadelphia (Arkadelphia, AR). The Badgers go into the 4A Region 7 test with a 7-6 record. In their last test, Arkadelphia was beaten by Camden Fairview (Camden, AR), 71-58, in a league test.
The Leopards now own a 3-9 record. They play next when they host Nashville for a 4A Region 7 test on Tuesday, February 7. De Queen will encounter a Scrappers squad coming off a 72-39 league win over Malvern (Malvern, AR). The Scrappers record now stands at 5-3.
