The Minnetonka Skippers (Minnetonka, MN) basketball knocked off the visiting Eastview Lightning (Apple Valley, MN), 98-84 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Skippers (13-3) will now prepare for their test against Buffalo (Buffalo, MN). The Bison go into the non-league test with a 15-3 record. In their last test, Buffalo went down by Wayzata (Plymouth, MN), 77-49, in a non-league test.
The Lightning now own a 12-4 record. They play next when they host Eagan for a AAAA Section 3 test on Tuesday, February 7. Eastview will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 60-59 non-league win over Farmington (Farmington, MN). The Wildcats record now stands at 11-7.
