The Fighting Cyclones now possess a 7-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Science Hill for a non-league battle on Thursday, February 9. Elizabethton will confront a Hilltoppers team coming off a 72-38 league loss to Dobyns-Bennett (Kingsport, TN). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 4-16.

The Buccaneers (12-11) will now prepare for their battle against Cloudland (Roan Mountain, TN). The Highlanders come into the 1A District 1 battle with a 4-13 record. In their last battle, Cloudland was nudged by Unaka (Elizabethton, TN), 84-46, in a league battle.
