The Prairie Grove Tigers (Prairie Grove, AR) basketball nipped the host Gravette Lions (Gravette, AR), 52-50 in Saturday's league test.

The Tigers (4-12) will now prepare for their test against Gentry (Gentry, AR). The Pioneers go into the 4A Region 1 test with a 1-14 record. In their last test, Gentry was tipped by Farmington (Farmington, AR), 69-29, in a league test.

The Lions now own a 9-5 record. They play next when they travel to Berryville for a 4A Region 1 test on Wednesday, February 8. Gravette will encounter a Bobcats squad coming off a 53-32 league loss to Pea Ridge (Pea Ridge, AR). The Bobcats record now stands at 14-7.
