The Greene County Tech Golden Eagles basketball team (Paragould, AR), was toppled 83-69 in Saturday's league battle with the host Nettleton Raiders (Jonesboro, AR)
The Raiders now possess a 17-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Marion for a 5A East battle on Tuesday, February 7. Nettleton will confront a Patriots team coming off a 58-23 league win over Valley View (Jonesboro, AR). The Patriots record now stands at 18-6.
The Golden Eagles (19-7) will now prepare for their battle against Batesville (Batesville, AR). The Pioneers come into the 5A East battle with a 6-18 record. In their last battle, Batesville beat Valley View (Jonesboro, AR), 53-50, in a league battle.
