Union Springs Wolves (Union Springs, NY) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Groton Indians (Groton, NY), 73-53 in a league bout.

With the win, Union Springs upgrades its record to 7-5 on the season. The Wolves host Dryden (Dryden, NY) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Monday, February 6. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 8-6. Dryden won 63-45 in their recent league bout against Charles O. Dickerson (Trumansburg, NY)

Next up, the Indians play the Southern Cayuga Chiefs (Poplar Ridge, NY) in a Section 4 Interscholastic - North Small bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Groton will attempt to upgrade on its 7-9 season record.
