Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Hanover Hornets (Colorado Springs, CO) and the host Primero Bulldogs (Weston, CO), saw Hanover's basketball squad hold off Primero by a tally of 30-29.
With the victory, Hanover improves its record to 7-7 on the campaign. The Hornets host Arickaree (Anton, CO) to confront the Bison in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 11. The Bison come into the challenge with a record of 8-5.
Next up, the Bulldogs confront the La Veta Redhawks (La Veta, CO) in a 1A Fishers Peak challenge, on Friday, February 10. Primero will attempt to improve on its 4-10 season record. The Redhawks come into the challenge with a 7-7 record after their 68-53 non-league win over Walsh (Walsh, CO).
