The Harmony Grove Cardinals basketball team (Benton, AR), was nudged 48-44 in Saturday's league battle with the visiting Jessieville Lions (Jessieville, AR)

The Lions now possess a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fouke for a 3A Region 7 battle on Wednesday, February 8. Jessieville will battle a Panthers team coming off a 57-51 league win over Genoa Central (Texarkana, AR). The Panthers record now stands at 11-7.

The Cardinals (16-5) will now prepare for their battle against Glen Rose (Malvern, AR). The Beavers come into the 3A Region 7 battle with a 8-7 record. In their last battle, Glen Rose edged Bismarck (Bismarck, AR), 51-48, in a league battle.
