The Holland Patent Golden Knights basketball team scored 72 points and restricted the visiting Westmoreland Bulldogs to 32 in the Golden Knights non-league victory on Saturday.

The Golden Knights now sport a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oneida for a Section 3 Tri-Valley - Pioneer contest on Tuesday, February 7. Holland Patent will battle a Indians team coming off a 66-63 league win over Proctor (Utica, NY). The Indians record now stands at 4-11.

The Bulldogs (1-15) will now prepare for their contest against Cooperstown (Cooperstown, NY). The Hawkeyes come into the Section 3 Center State III contest with a 6-11 record. In their last contest, Cooperstown triumphed over Sherburne-Earlville (Sherburne, NY), 70-59, in a league contest.
