With the victory, Soldotna upgrades its record to 4-12 on the campaign. The Stars travel to Nikiski (Nikiski, AK) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 2-15. Nikiski lost 53-37 in their recent league challenge against Homer (Homer, AK)

Next up, the Mariners play the Kotzebue Huskies (Kotzebue, AK) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 9. Homer will attempt to upgrade on its 2-13 season record. The Huskies come into the challenge with a 11-4 record after their 72-47 non-league win over Unalakleet (Unalakleet, AK).
