In Saturday's non-league outing, the West Hall Spartans (Oakwood, GA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Johnson Knights (Gainesville, GA), by a count of 77-41.
The Spartans (12-11) will now prepare for their outing against Gilmer (Ellijay, GA). The Bobcats go into the AAA Region 7 outing with a 16-8 record. In their last outing, Gilmer smashed Southeast Whitfield County (Dalton, GA), 82-68, in a non-league outing.
The Knights now hold a 0-23 record. They play next when they travel to North Hall for a non-league outing on Friday, February 10. Johnson will clash with a Trojans squad coming off a 75-60 league loss to Walnut Grove (Walnut Grove, GA). The Trojans record now stands at 13-12.
