Lake Belton Broncos (Temple, TX) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Killeen Kangaroos (Killeen, TX), 67-58 in a league bout.

With the win, Lake Belton upgrades its record to 16-14 on the season. The Broncos travel to Chaparral (Killeen, TX) to clash with the Bobcats in a 5A Region III District 22 bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Bobcats go into the bout with a record of 21-12. Chaparral lost 54-46 in their recent league bout against University (Waco, TX)

Next up, the Kangaroos clash with the Belton Tigers (Belton, TX) in a 5A Region III District 22 bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Killeen will attempt to upgrade on its 7-22 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 23-8 record after their 69-25 league win over Waco (Waco, TX).
