The Krum Bobcats basketball team scored 66 points and held the host Springtown Porcupines to 57 in the Bobcats league triumph on Saturday.

The Bobcats now sport a 17-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bridgeport for a 4A Region I District 8 contest on Tuesday, February 7. Krum will battle a Bulls team coming off a 69-36 league loss to Lake Worth (Lake Worth, TX). The Bulls record now stands at 5-24.

The Porcupines (9-18) will now prepare for their contest against Castleberry (Fort Worth, TX). The Lions enter the 4A Region I District 8 contest with a 14-12 record. In their last contest, Castleberry was defeated by Decatur (Decatur, TX), 78-50, in a league contest.
