Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Midway Falcons (Henrietta, TX) and the visiting Prairie Valley Bulldogs (Nocona, TX), saw Midway's basketball squad knock off Prairie Valley by a count of 56-37.

With the victory, Midway upgrades its record to 22-6 on the campaign. The Falcons host Slidell (Slidell, TX) to play the Greyhounds in a 1A Region III District 22 challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Greyhounds come into the challenge with a record of 17-12. Slidell won 76-23 in their recent league challenge against Bellevue (Bellevue, TX)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Saint Jo Panthers (Saint Jo, TX) in a 1A Region III District 22 challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. Prairie Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 14-15 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 19-9 record after their 42-29 league win over Forestburg (Forestburg, TX).
