The Shelley Russets basketball team (Shelley, ID), was overwhelmed 57-35 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Minico Spartans (Rupert, ID)
The Spartans now possess a 11-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Canyon Ridge for a 4A Great Basin battle on Monday, February 6. Minico will battle a Riverhawks team coming off a 48-39 league loss to Wood River (Hailey, ID). The Riverhawks record now stands at 9-9.
The Russets (6-12) will now prepare for their battle against Skyline (Idaho Falls, ID). The Grizzlies come into the 4A High Country battle with a 6-13 record. In their last battle, Skyline was overwhelmed by Bonneville (Idaho Falls, ID), 72-53, in a league battle.
