With the win, Nocona upgrades its record to 18-11 on the season. The Indians host Olney (Olney, TX) to clash with the Cubs in a 2A Region II District 9 bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Cubs go into the bout with a record of 7-24. Olney lost 42-38 in their recent league bout against Petrolia (Petrolia, TX)

Next up, the Panthers clash with the Windthorst Trojans (Windthorst, TX) in a 2A Region II District 9 bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Seymour will attempt to upgrade on its 19-8 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 9-17 record after their 67-53 league loss to Nocona (Nocona, TX).
