Owyhee Braves (Owyhee, NV) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Wells Leopards (Wells, NV), 64-29 in a league bout.

With the victory, Owyhee upgrades its record to 16-3 on the campaign. The Braves travel to Jackpot (Jackpot, NV) to play the Jaguars in a 1A Eastern bout on Monday, February 6. The Jaguars come into the bout with a record of 3-12. Jackpot won 44-34 in their recent league bout against Wells (Wells, NV)

Next up, the Leopards play the Eureka Vandals (Eureka, NV) in a 1A Eastern bout, on Friday, February 10. Wells will attempt to upgrade on its 5-19 season record. The Vandals come into the bout with a 16-1 record after their 56-18 league win over McDermitt (McDermitt, NV).
