In Saturday's league outing, the Wheatley Wildcats (Houston, TX) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Scarborough Spartans (Houston, TX), by a margin of 97-42.

The Wildcats (14-8) will now prepare for their outing against Kashmere (Houston, TX). The Fighting Rams go into the 4A Region III District 21 outing with a 5-19 record. In their last outing, Kashmere was trounced by Mickey Leland College Preparatory Academy for Young Men (Houston, TX), 55-41, in a league outing.

The Spartans now own a 1-20 record. They play next when they travel to Yates for a 4A Region III District 21 outing on Wednesday, February 8. Scarborough will clash with a Lions squad coming off a 75-55 league win over Worthing (Houston, TX). The Lions record now stands at 12-6.
