The Southlake Carroll Dragons (Southlake, TX) basketball nipped the host V.R. Eaton Eagles (Fort Worth, TX), 55-51 in Saturday's league test.
The Dragons (19-10) will now prepare for their test against Fossil Ridge (Keller, TX). The Panthers go into the 6A Region I District 4 test with a 4-22 record. In their last test, Fossil Ridge was tipped by Keller (Keller, TX), 86-45, in a league test.
The Eagles now own a 13-15 record. They play next when they host Byron Nelson for a 6A Region I District 4 test on Tuesday, February 7. V.R. Eaton will encounter a Bobcat squad coming off a 81-76 league loss to Keller Central (Keller, TX). The Bobcat record now stands at 23-7.
