The Westminster Wildcats basketball team (Atlanta, GA), was nudged 49-44 in Saturday's league battle with the visiting Stephenson Jaguars (Stone Mountain, GA)

The Jaguars now possess a 14-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Southwest DeKalb for a AAAA Region 6 battle on Tuesday, February 7. Stephenson will confront a Panthers team coming off a 65-40 league win over Stone Mountain (Stone Mountain, GA). The Panthers record now stands at 20-2.

The Wildcats (10-14) will now prepare for their battle against Miller Grove (Lithonia, GA). The Wolverines come into the AAAA Region 6 battle with a 13-10 record. In their last battle, Miller Grove edged Clarkston (Clarkston, GA), 68-33, in a league battle.
