The Manzano Monarchs basketball team (Albuquerque, NM), was overwhelmed 45-24 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Los Lunas Tigers (Los Lunas, NM)
The Tigers now possess a 6-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Santa Fe for a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 7. Los Lunas will confront a Demons team coming off a 39-37 non-league loss to Albuquerque (Albuquerque, NM). The Demons record now stands at 7-10.
The Monarchs (5-11) will now prepare for their battle against Rio Grande (Albuquerque, NM). The Ravens come into the non-league battle with a 6-8 record. In their last battle, Rio Grande trounced Capital (Santa Fe, NM), 38-33, in a non-league battle.
