The Cooper Pirates routed the visiting Abilene Eagles basketball team by a final score of 89-42 in Saturday's league game.
In their next game, the Pirates face the Wylie Bulldogs (Abilene, TX) in a 5A Region I District 4 game, on Tuesday, February 7. Cooper will attempt to move on its 24-6 season record.
With the defeat, Abilene moves to 13-20 on the year.
