In Saturday's non-league outing, the Mountain Lakes Lakers (Mountain Lakes, NJ) basketball squad felled the visiting Academy of St. Elizabeth Panthers (Convent Station, NJ), by a margin of 39-28.

The Lakers (7-9) will now prepare for their outing against Villa Walsh Academy (Morristown, NJ). The Vikings go into the Freelance outing with a 6-8 record.

The Panthers now own a 7-11 record. They play next when they travel to Parsippany Hills for a non-league outing on Monday, February 6. Academy of St. Elizabeth will clash with a Vikings squad coming off a 34-22 non-league loss to High Point (Sussex, NJ). The Vikings record now stands at 6-13.
