In Saturday's non-league match, the host Tikigaq Harpooners basketball team scored a decisive 83-30 triumph over the Aqqaluk Bears.
With the defeat, Aqqaluk moves to 5-2 on the year. The Bears host Buckland (Buckland, AK) to meet the Belugas in a 1A Northwest Arctic match on Friday, February 10. The Belugas enter the match with a record of 3-4. Buckland won 54-38 in their recent non-league match against Redington (Wasilla, AK)
