The Blanco Panthers (Blanco, TX) basketball felled the host Comfort Bobcats/Deer (Comfort, TX), 47-28 in Saturday's league test.
The Panthers (23-11) will now prepare for their test against Llano (Llano, TX). The Yellowjackets go into the 3A Region I District 5 test with a 8-20 record. In their last test, Llano was beaten by Brady (Brady, TX), 47-44, in a league test.
The Bobcats/Deer now own a 6-14 record. They play next when they host Ingram Moore for a 3A Region I District 5 test on Tuesday, February 7. Comfort will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 32-26 league loss to Florence (Florence, TX). The Warriors record now stands at 4-21.
