The Brentwood Academy Eagles (Brentwood, TN) basketball knocked off the host Pope John Paul II Knights (Hendersonville, TN), 40-21 in Saturday's league test.
The Eagles (13-10) will now prepare for their test against Ensworth (Nashville, TN). The Tigers go into the Division II-AA Middle test with a 21-3 record. In their last test, Ensworth notched a victory over Pope John Paul II (Hendersonville, TN), 54-20, in a league test.
The Knights now own a 7-16 record. They play next when they host Harpeth Hall for a Division II-AA Middle test on Tuesday, February 7. Pope John Paul II will encounter a Honeybears squad coming off a 60-57 league win over Christ Presbyterian Academy (Nashville, TN). The Honeybears record now stands at 19-4.
