In Saturday's non-league match, the host Chester-Joplin-Inverness Hawks basketball team scored a decisive 67-45 triumph over the Hays-Lodge Pole Thunder Birds.
In their next game, the Hawks meet the Big Sandy Pioneers (Big Sandy, MT) in a C District 9 match, on Saturday, February 11. Chester-Joplin-Inverness will attempt to better on its 6-8 season record.
With the defeat, Hays-Lodge Pole moves to 3-11 on the year.
