Dominican Knights (Whitefish Bay, WI) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Martin Luther Spartans (Greendale, WI), 51-37 in a league bout.

With the win, Dominican upgrades its record to 16-1 on the season. The Knights travel to Catholic Central (Burlington, WI) to play the Hilltoppers in a Metro Classic bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Hilltoppers go into the bout with a record of 4-14. Catholic Central lost 53-31 in their recent non-league bout against Living Word Lutheran (Jackson, WI)

Next up, the Spartans play the The Prairie School Hawks (Racine, WI) in a Metro Classic bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Martin Luther will attempt to upgrade on its 14-6 season record. The Hawks go into the bout with a 17-2 record after their 76-18 league win over Shoreland Lutheran (Somers, WI).
