New Mexico High School Basketball - Espanola Valley nudges Pojoaque Valley

In Saturday's league outing, the Espanola Valley Sundevils (Espanola, NM) basketball squad nipped the host Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes (Pojoaque, NM), by a margin of 37-32.
The Sundevils (10-12) will now prepare for their outing against Moriarty (Moriarty, NM). The Pintos go into the 4A District 2 outing with a 12-10 record. In their last outing, Moriarty was tipped by Los Alamos (Los Alamos, NM), 64-32, in a league outing.
The Elks/Elkettes now own a 8-15 record. They play next when they travel to Taos for a 4A District 2 outing on Tuesday, February 7. Pojoaque Valley will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 37-31 league win over Espanola Valley (Espanola, NM). The Tigers record now stands at 7-14.
