The Fenwick Friars basketball team (Oak Park, IL), was overwhelmed 67-44 in Saturday's league battle with the visiting Trinity Blazers (River Forest, IL)

The Blazers now possess a 19-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Laurence for a non-league battle on Wednesday, February 8. Trinity will battle a Vikings team coming off a 56-51 non-league win over Hillcrest (Country Club Hills, IL). The Vikings record now stands at 16-14.

The Friars (14-16) will now prepare for their battle against Proviso West (Hillside, IL). The Panthers come into the non-league battle with a 5-19 record. In their last battle, Proviso West trounced Leyden (Franklin Park, IL), 59-41, in a non-league battle.
