The Rison Wildcats basketball team (Rison, AR), was toppled 55-44 in Friday's league battle with the host Fordyce Redbugs (Fordyce, AR)
The Redbugs now possess a 13-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Junction City for a 2A Region 8 battle on Wednesday, February 8. Fordyce will confront a Dragons team coming off a 57-22 league loss to Parkers Chapel (El Dorado, AR). The Dragons record now stands at 3-6.
The Wildcats (6-8) will now prepare for their battle against Ouachita (Donaldson, AR). The Warriors come into the 2A Region 8 battle with a 11-6 record.
