The Gilmer Bobcats (Ellijay, GA) basketball felled the host Southeast Whitfield County Raiders (Dalton, GA), 43-29 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Bobcats (5-19) will now prepare for their test against West Hall (Oakwood, GA). The Spartans go into the AAA Region 7 test with a 3-20 record. In their last test, West Hall thwarted Johnson (Gainesville, GA), 33-25, in a non-league test.
The Raiders now own a 4-18 record. They play next when they host Christian Heritage for a non-league test on Monday, February 6. Southeast Whitfield County will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 49-36 league loss to Greenforest (Decatur, GA). The Lions record now stands at 11-12.
