Texas High School Basketball - Northwest can't hold off Granbury

The Granbury Pirates basketball team scored 45 points and held the visiting Northwest Texans to 43 in the Pirates league triumph on Tuesday.
The Pirates now sport a 21-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Saginaw for a 5A Region I District 5 contest on Friday, February 3. Granbury will battle a Rough Riders team coming off a 62-53 league loss to Brewer (Fort Worth, TX). The Rough Riders record now stands at 15-11.
The Texans (20-12) will now prepare for their contest against Rider (Wichita Falls, TX). The Raiders enter the 5A Region I District 5 contest with a 3-23 record. In their last contest, Rider was nudged by Granbury (Granbury, TX), 38-29, in a league contest.
