Minnesota High School Basketball - Park Rapids can't hold off Hawley

The Hawley Nuggets basketball team scored 62 points and restricted the visiting Park Rapids Panthers to 58 in the Nuggets league victory on Saturday.
The Nuggets now sport a 15-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pelican Rapids for a AA Section 8 contest on Tuesday, February 7. Hawley will battle a Vikings team coming off a 65-48 non-league win over Wheaton/Herman-Norcross (Wheaton, MN). The Vikings record now stands at 15-3.
The Panthers (8-10) will now prepare for their contest against Staples-Motley (Staples, MN). The Cardinals come into the non-league contest with a 5-11 record. In their last contest, Staples-Motley edged Pillager (Pillager, MN), 56-49, in a league contest.
