Howe Lions (Howe, OK) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Panama Razorbacks (Panama, OK), 61-49 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Howe upgrades its record to 14-5 on the season. The Lions travel to Central (Sallisaw, OK) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 2-3. Central won 45-22 in their recent league bout against Vian (Vian, OK)

Next up, the Razorbacks clash with the Pocola Indians (Pocola, OK) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Panama will attempt to upgrade on its 7-7 season record. The Indians go into the bout with a 13-5 record after their 63-52 league loss to Hartshorne (Hartshorne, OK).
