Georgia High School Basketball - Johnson County topples Screven County

February 4, 2023: Wrightsville, GA 31096

In Saturday's non-league outing, the Johnson County Trojans (Wrightsville, GA) basketball squad beat the visiting Screven County Gamecocks (Sylvania, GA), by a count of 50-41.

The Trojans (10-6) will now prepare for their outing against Twiggs County (Jeffersonville, GA). The Cobras go into the A D2 Region 5 outing with a 6-15 record. In their last outing, Twiggs County was topped by East Laurens (East Dublin, GA), 70-13, in a non-league outing.

The Gamecocks now hold a 13-9 record. They play next when they travel to Jefferson County for a non-league outing on Friday, February 10. Screven County will clash with a Warriors squad coming off a 61-45 league loss to Dublin (Dublin, GA). The Warriors record now stands at 3-17.
