Oregon High School Basketball - Powder Valley thwarts Joseph

The Powder Valley Badgers (North Powder, OR) basketball knocked off the host Joseph Eagles (Joseph, OR), 40-29 in Saturday's league test.
The Badgers (15-5) will now prepare for their test against Wallowa (Wallowa, OR). The Cougars go into the 1A Old Oregon test with a 8-9 record. In their last test, Wallowa notched a victory over Pine Eagle (Halfway, OR), 53-29, in a league test.
The Eagles now own a 6-14 record. They play next when they travel to Imbler for a 1A Old Oregon test on Friday, February 10. Joseph will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 46-5 league win over Pine Eagle (Halfway, OR). The Panthers record now stands at 15-4.
