In Saturday's non-league outing, the Pascack Valley Panthers (Hillsdale, NJ) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Mahwah Thunderbirds (Mahwah, NJ), by a margin of 41-18.
The Panthers (14-6) will now prepare for their outing against NV - Demarest (Demarest, NJ). The Norsemen go into the Big North - National outing with a 5-11 record. In their last outing, NV - Demarest was trounced by Tenafly (Tenafly, NJ), 44-31, in a league outing.
The Thunderbirds now own a 10-9 record. They play next when they host Ramsey for a Big North - Patriot outing on Tuesday, February 7. Mahwah will encounter a Rams squad coming off a 52-36 non-league win over Ridgewood (Ridgewood, NJ). The Rams record now stands at 13-7.
