The McDonough Warhawks basketball team (McDonough, GA), was overwhelmed 70-30 in Saturday's league battle with the visiting Woodland Wolfpack (Stockbridge, GA)
The Wolfpack now possess a 15-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hampton for a AAAA Region 5 battle on Tuesday, February 7. Woodland will confront a Hornets team coming off a 88-16 league loss to Stockbridge (Stockbridge, GA). The Hornets record now stands at 3-18.
The Warhawks (3-20) will now prepare for their battle against Mt. Zion (Jonesboro, GA). The Bulldogs come into the AAAA Region 5 battle with a 0-22 record. In their last battle, Mt. Zion was overwhelmed by Woodland (Stockbridge, GA), 80-4, in a league battle.
