In Saturday's non-league outing, the Montclair Mounties (Montclair, NJ) basketball squad felled the visiting Newark Collegiate Academy Panthers (Newark, NJ), by a margin of 53-40.
The Mounties (13-5) will now prepare for their outing against Irvington (Irvington, NJ). The Blue Knights go into the non-league outing with a 12-3 record. In their last outing, Irvington was beaten by North Star Academy (Newark, NJ), 56-41, in a non-league outing.
The Panthers now own a 5-5 record.
