Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Susitna Valley Rams (Talkeetna, AK) and the host Nenana Lynx (Nenana, AK), saw Susitna Valley's basketball squad hold off Nenana by a count of 27-22.
With the victory, Susitna Valley upgrades its record to 11-2 on the campaign. The Rams host Birchwood Christian (Chugiak, AK) to play the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 9. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 3-9.
Next up, the Lynx play the Susitna Valley Rams (Talkeetna, AK) in a 2A Interior challenge, on Tuesday, February 14. Nenana will attempt to upgrade on its 6-4 season record.
